Billing questions
- Wait — it's free right now?
- Yes. NavWhale is in early access, so every feature (including everything listed under Pro) is unlocked for free, with no card required. The prices below are what Pro will cost once we start charging. Sign up now and enjoy the whole thing while it's free.
- How does billing work?
- Pro is a subscription billed monthly ($4.99) or yearly ($29). Payments are handled securely by Stripe — NavWhale never sees your card details. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then drop back to the Free plan automatically.
- What happens to my trips if I downgrade?
- Nothing is deleted. Your trips stay exactly as they are. If you're over the Free plan's saved-trip limit, you keep viewing all of them but won't be able to create new ones until you're back under the limit or upgrade again.
- Do you offer refunds?
- See our Refund & Cancellation policy for details. If something's wrong, email hello@navwhale.com and we'll make it right.
- What counts as a “generation”?
- Each time the AI builds or substantially rewrites an itinerary. Free accounts have a daily cap; Pro lifts it to a generous ceiling that's well clear of normal planning.
